The triangle-shaped frame of
this famous leveler makes its strength and durability
unique.
Standard lengths of 60' and 80'
have proven to fill the needs of most customers.
Thick-walled drill pipe is used in points of
particular stress.
Horsepower requirements are 175
h.p.-and-up and 200 h.p.-and-up respectively. 12'
wheelbase and 38' ground clearance make
transportation easier.
Hubs and spindles are large
enough to carry the 18,000 to 22,000 lb. on 18.4 x 26
R-3, 6-ply tires.
The P-30 is laser adaptable and
can be used in rough cut work and then for
maintenance of ground that has been put to grade.
It is possible to convert this
machine to an angle blade/bucket combination leveler
by bolting plates onto the ends of the blade(s). This
will allow for greater dirt carrying capacity.
The P-30's blades are
adjustable to cuts of 17', 19', or 22½'. It is a
simple matter to swing the blade frames to align cuff
holes, insert bolts, and have the desired cut, as
well as to unbolt the blades and swing then under the
frame for narrow transport.
Since 1962 the P-30 has used a
precision setting device that insures an even cut
each time you use the leveler. Once set, the leveler
will return to the same setting each time pressure is
released from the hydraulic cylinder.
The P-30's front-end steering
system provides fast response to the tractor's
movement, allowing for short turns and for backing
out of narrow places. A popular option which makes
this large equipment even more manuverable is the
addition of a rear hydraulic steering package. The
P-30 can be used for leveling in new ground or for
finishing and maintaining graded ground.
Leveler moldboards, levee
squeezer blades, combine headers, etc. can be
protected by the addition of
polysheeting/polyplating, cut to fit and bolted on.
This plastic sheet is inexpensive and greatly
increases the life of equipment moldboards. The
plating allows dirt and trash to move down the
moldboards with less drag, which means easier pulling
and less wear and tear on equipment. Headers are
protected from wear. In the case of landlevelers,
depending on the type of soil, farmers are getting
into the fields 1 1/2 to 3 days earlier. Another
benefit is that it eliminates winter maintenance of
having to paint moldboards.
The plating comes in various
thicknesses; some color options are available. Give
us your blade dimensions and we will cut and ship
your polysheeting, for you to bolt onto your
equipment. A cost-effective and money-saving addition
to any product with blades or headers.
We regularly design and create
equipment according to the specifications of our
customers. It may be a variation of one of our stock
items, or something not routinely manufactured.
We have good used and
re-conditioned equipment, taken as trade-in or bought
for re-sale.
Our objective is to meet our
customers' demand for the highest quality
land-forming and agricultural implements.
